MAGA MELANIE

Hello! My name is Melanie, my artist name is MAGA.
 

The name MAGA was born from Magia, the Spanish word for magic. In the early days, when I was creating music with a full band, we called ourselves Magia. But as my music kept evolving, I decided to change Magia to MAGA.
 

For me, MAGA became much more than an artistic name. It became a reminder to trust myself, to take up space, to create with courage, and to express what is true within me. It carries the energy of creativity, freedom, authenticity, and a deep trust in life.
 

Im from Argentina, but for the past ten years I’ve been travelling and living in different parts of the world, where I studied dance teacher in Australia, Yoga instructor in India and kept learning singing.

My relationship with music began when I was 12, when I started dancing, musical theatre and singing lessons. I never really stopped after that.

Seven years ago, I decided to take a leap of faith and dedicate myself fully to music. I began teaching singing, performing my own compositions, collaborating with other musicians, and creating spaces where music, movement, voice, and connection could come together.

It has been one of the most courageous and beautiful decisions of my life.
 

Today, through my music and the spaces I create, I invite people to reconnect with their most authentic expressions of themselves, expressing what is true within them — with freedom, authenticity, and love.

My work takes many forms: my own music and live performances, singing sessions, workshops, movement, retreats, and other spaces for creative expression and connection.
 

At the heart of everything I do is the same invitation:
to come back to your own essence, and let yourself be fully heard and seen.
